While working in sales with lots of traveling, I found that finding a place for my pets to stay was stressful for them and me. Kennels were not appealing because of the possibility of illness, injury and lack of personal attention, along with the inconvenience of dropping off and picking up my pets. Friends and family sometimes would help but it was a burden for them and I usually had to bring my pets to them. I deciding to use a professional pet sitter after reading research that most pets are happier, healthier, more relaxed, and well-behaved staying in a familiar environment.
I had a difficult time finding a qualified, reliable, professional pet sitter that I was comfortable with. That’s when I decided to use my ability to bond with animals to provide the service I had been looking for!
I grew up with dogs and cats, along with fish and assorted other pets. I have always had animals in my house and feel that they are part of the family. In addition to spoiling my dog Tasha, (picture of us on the home page), I enjoy camping, fly fishing, and playing drums.

Deb has been with Sirius Pet Care for over a year, and truly loves pet sitting! She is caring, reliable, honest, and compassionate. Deb grew up with dogs ranging from Dachshunds to St. Bernard’s. She has also owned parakeets, fish, and hamsters. As well as pet sitting, Deb works at various senior centers around Denver. She teaches exercise and fitness classes, and drives seniors to activities.If that’s not enough, she is also the Secretary of the Colorado Mountain Club and is leader of their hiking group. In her free time Deb enjoys biking, hiking, jogging, tennis, and swimming. Deb lives in Arvada with her husband and her cat Olivia, whom has had since she was a kitten.

Patti started pet sitting and dog walking for Sirius Pet Care shortly after she hired them to walk her two dogs after an unfortunate rollerskating accident! She absolutely loves animals and knows the importance of peace of mind for pet owners when they have to leave their beloved animals behind.
Patti has two dogs Reno and Hailey, who are 12 and 13 yrs old. She's had them since they were puppies and they are her "kids". Patti and her husband live in Thornton and she pet sits in the Westminster, Northglenn, and Broomfield area as well. She is extremely comfortable with all types of pets... big to small, she loves them all!

Melanie has been an animal lover ever since she can remember and can’t imagine life without them. Over her life she has raised just about every pet imaginable from dogs and cats, to guinea pigs, parakeets, turtles, geese, ducks, several aquariums, and horses, just to name a few. She worked for five years with horse trainer/breeders who also raised ranch dogs and Newfoundland’s.
Melanie is always looking to challenge herself and along with pet sitting, she is currently a part time college student going for her phlebotomy certification. She lost her beloved dog "Mr. Elvis" to cancer recently, but enjoys her horses and her new found passion… bee keeping!Melanie is the mother of four grown children and one adorable grandson. She lives in Wheat Ridge but her "normal" job takes her to Broomfield, which allows her to provide pet visits to most of our service area, including Westminster, Arvada, Superior, Golden, and North Denver.
In her spare time you will find Melanie with her horses and bees, as well as listening to all types of music. She is extremely reliable and conscience, and will treat all your pets with kindness and respect.
